HI! I'M ADA.
I am a curious multidisciplinary designer, researcher, and strategist using human centered design and engineering to investigate human experience and behavior, leverage user insights, and catalyze the creation of thoughtful solutions to complex problems. My work is inspired by contemporary cultures and driven by principles of optimistic design, leading to intentional ideation and innovation through purposeful evolution.
My experience as a first generation Nigerian-American has profoundly shaped my worldview. As a result, I have always been interested in the areas of accessibility, diversity, and inclusion. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to work in the healthcare field – that’s why I chose to attend medical school! Though I cherished my time in medical school, I came to realize that I continually felt unfulfilled. After coming to this realization, I decided to switch gears and attempt to pursue my passion for medicine and healthcare from a different angle. As of now, I am pursuing my Master’s in Engineering, Design & Innovation at Northwestern University.
I am interested in working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and design to explore, encourage, and innovate a healthier world for all. I look forward to working together with collaborative, diverse teams who prioritize their users and strive to bring them into the design equation at every step because, in the words of IDEO, “a better future is for all of us to design.”

Outside of work you can find me trying out different cuisines, traveling to new places, or relaxing with my husband and dogs (Pepper and Mocha)!
